Forest Church – Fun and Faith for families

Lots of people feel closer to God in nature. Most of our children at Windmill prefer to be active and outsides o we have teamed up with a local Forest School provider, AvLittle Bit Wilder, to offer an exciting faith-based provision for our young people with in a forrest setting.

The forest is a very special and calming place to visit and our aim is to gently
interweave a focus on God as creator, healer and saviour into each session.

The children learn about God’s creation and how to care for it and have fun
within it. We have sole use of the forest and all the activities on offer there
including rope work, free play, swinging in hammocks, craft activities including
the use of tools and carving, plant & wildlife identification, foraging, cooking
and fire-lighting.  Our aspiration is for the children to have lots of fun, learn
more about God and themselves, and make new friends.
We meet on third Sundays of the month at 1:30pm for two hours in Screveton,
Notts. Booking is essential for safety reasons. Contact us for more details and how to book.
