Sundays

Windmill meets to worship on the second Sundays of the month at 4pm at Bottesford Methodist Chapel, Devon Lane, NG13 0BZ.  The Chapel is tucked away next to the River Devon, but inside there is a Chapel and two large rooms which we use for our children’s groups, and for sharing food together.

We meet together for contemporary worship led by our musicians and then enjoy speakers, videos, prayer stations or creativity.  Each Windmill gathering is different because we realise that each person encounters God’s presence in different ways.  Prayer ministry is always available following the services.

Forest Church for children and families meet on the third Sunday. Children’s Church link.

The fourth Sunday of each month at 4pm in the Methodist Chapel we have a relaxed prayer meeting run by some of our mature-in-Christ Windmill members, Chris, Yvonne and Dian. If you want prayer for yourself, someone else or a situation you are welcome to bring your prayer requests. If you have a need for a time of reflective prayer then please feel very welcome to come to this prayer meeting.

On the rare fifth Sundays we meet for an informal, lite, Agape (fellowship) meal with prayers and reflection. This is usually at the Methodist Chapel at 4pm.

We sometimes have our services outside in the grounds of St Mary’s church. This is advertised in our newsletter. Contact us to be added to the email list.

We always invite everyone to stay after the service to share food and fellowship.  We provide for most dietary requirements and aim to offer simple but yummy food for all…pizza and soup is often on the menu, as is hot chocolate and cake.

Our first baptisms at Windmill…if this is something you would like to explore for you or your child, please get in touch!
